Wednesdays at 7:30 - 9:00 p.m.
Fellowship Hall (Council Room)
Because we are such a diverse group, you'll find that our worship is very blended (gospel, praise & worship, jazz, hymns and sometimes classical) in the Main Sanctuary and more traditional (hymns) in the Historic Chapel. Our worship is like a box of chocolates - you never know what you're going to get!
We are a multi-generational, multi-racial, and multi-cultural congregation of the United Church of Christ established in 1848. We are also an Open and Affirming Congregation, which means our doors are truly open to everyone, including the LGBTQ+ community. When we say we welcome everyone! We mean it! We don't believe in second-class Christianship!
We actually enjoy each other's company so we get together for
We also get together for other community events like bingo, catching a drag show at Hamburger Mary's, celebrating our Pastor's birthday at Guava Lamp Bar and Lounge, Bowling, and Escape Rooms. Sometimes, when we can agree on a movie, we'll go see it.
What do we believe? Well...you can check out our belief statements here. But be careful not to label us according to those statements. We also believe in growing our relationship with God through faith and doubt, questions and answers, and through victory and defeat. So while we lift up our statements of belief, please know there is so much more. We are on a journey and our belief can't be boiled down to 11 statements. That's boring and far too simple!
United in Christ love, a just world for all. That's our mission - nine words that compel us to love each other, love our neighbor, and create a just world. Come back to the website soon to learn about our Three Great Loves.
